ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR PART TIME CONTRACTUAL TEACHERS

SESSION-2015-16

Kendriya Vidyalaya Kathua invites application from eligible Candidates to prepare a panel of Teachers on purely part-time contractual basis for the Session 2015-16 for the following Posts.

The electives subjects and Languages in the combination of subjects as under : a.   For TGT (English): English as a subject in all the three years with English Literature. b.  For TGT (Hindi): Hindi as a subject in all the three years. c.   For TGT (‘Sanskrit):  Sanskrit as a subject in all the three years. d.  For TGT (Maths): Bachelor Degree in Maths with any two of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, and Statistics. e.   For TGT (Science) -, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. f.    For TGT (S. Sc.) Any two of the following:  History, Geography, Economics and Pol. Science of which one must be either History or Geography? 2.     With B.Ed. or equivalent for all the Subjects. 3.     Proficiency in teaching Hindi and English medium. 7.	PRTs	A.     Essential Qualification: a.   Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent. b.  Diploma or Certificate in Basic Teachers’ Training of duration of not less than two years. Or Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.) or B.Ed. or equivalent. c.   Competence to teach through Hindi & English medium. B.     Desirable : Knowledge of Computer Applications and CTET (Paper-I)	Rs.21250/- (per month)
8.	Computer Instructor	A.     Essential Qualification:    At least 50% marks in aggregate in  any of the following: 1.       B.E or B. Tech (Computer Science/ IT) from a recognized university or equivalent Degree or Diploma from an institution/ university recognized by the Govt. of India. Or 2.     BE or B. Tech (any stream) and Post Graduate Diploma in Computers Applications from recognizes university. Or 3.     M.Sc. (Computer Science) /MCA or Equivalent from a recognize university. Or 4.     B.Sc. (Computer science) /BCA or and Post Graduate degree in any subject from a recognized university. Or 5.     Post Graduate Diploma in computer and Post Graduate degree in any subject from recognized university. Or 6.     ’B’ Level from DOEACC and Post Graduate degree in any subject Or 7.      ’C’ Level from DOEACC Ministry of information and communication Technology and Graduation B.     Desirable: Competence to teach through Hindi & English medium. 10.	Art & Craft Instructor	A.     Essential Qualification: 1.       Five Years’ recognized Diploma in drawing and Painting/Sculpture/Graphic Art. OR Equivalent recognized Degree. Professional competency in concerned field. 2.     Working knowledge of Hindi & English. B.  Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Application.	Rs.21250/- (per month)
11.	Dance & Music Instructor	A.     Essential Qualification: 1.       Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent and Bachelor Degree in Music or equivalent from a recognized University. 2.     Competence to teach through English/Hindi media. B.  Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Application.	Rs.21250/-(per month)
12.	Spoken English Teacher	A.     Essential Qualification: 1.       BA /MA English +one Year Spoken English Course or equivalent. B.  Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Application.	Rs.18750/-(per month)
13.	Staff Nurse	A.     Essential Qualification: 1.       Three year Diploma in nursing from recognized Institution and certificate in life saving skills. 2.     Working knowledge of Hindi & English. B.  Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Application.	Rs.750/-(per working day)
14	Counselor	A.     Essential Qualification: 1.       M.A. /M.Sc. (Psychology) from a recognized College or University +Regular one year Post Graduate Diploma in Guidance and Counseling. Or 2.     M.A./M.Sc./M.Com. with B.Ed. /M.Ed. Qualification +Regular one year Post Graduate Diploma in Guidance and Counseling. B.    Desirable: 1.       Minimum of one year Experience in Providing Career/Educational Counseling to Students in Schools/ Working Knowledge and experience in Placement Bureaus. 2.     Registration with rehabilitation Council of India as Vocational Counselor. 3.     Knowledge of Computer Applications	Rs.25000/-(per month)
15	Yoga Teacher	A.     Essential Qualification: 1.     Graduation in any subject or equivalent from a recognized University. 2.   One year Training in Yoga from a recognized Institution.   3.   Working knowledge of Hindi & English. B.    Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Application.	Rs.21250/- (per month)

9.          Applications Forms on prescribed format are available in Vidyalaya office on any working days and submitted the same in the Vidyalaya office between 10 AM to 2 PM w. e .f. 11-02-2015 onwards. Self made/printed/Photocopied Application Forms/Resumes will not be accepted. Only Issued Applications Forms from Vidyalaya will be accepted.

10.       Qualifications acquired by the candidates should be strictly in accordance with the prescribed qualifications and candidate should not seek claim of equivalence of their qualifications with that of qualifications as asked for. Wherein grades have been given, equivalence marks of gradation should be attached.

11.          Candidate should not fill in those qualifications in the application form for which they have appeared in any of the examination whose result is awaited/ withheld/ not declared/marks sheet not received till the last date of submission of applications.

12.        Applicants are required to paste 2 recent passport size photograph (size 35 x 45 mm) facing camera duly attested by a Self/ Gazetted Officer.

13.        For the Post of PRTs & TGTs the Candidate should submit the Application Form-I accompanied by necessary enclosures.

14.        For the Post of MISC. Teachers, STAFF NURSE and COUNSELOR the Candidate should submit the Application Form-II accompanied by necessary enclosures.

15.         Duly filled application Forms along with photocopies of certificates and testimonial should reach the Vidyalaya office latest by 28-02-2015 before 1 PM.

16.        The selection of candidates will be done by Eligibility Test (written) (CTET Pattern) of one hour duration if number of Candidates is more than twenty) followed by interview.

17.        The Eligibility Test will be conduct on 14-03-2015 at 10 AM for PRTs and MISC. Teachers and 12 PM for TGTs.

18.         The Interview will be conducted on 25-03-2015 and 26-03-2015 at 9 AM onward.

19.Incomplete application forms will be rejected and no claim after the last date of submission of Application Forms.

20.     No TA/DA will be paid for attending Eligibility Test (written) /the interview.
